A matching shower for the Excellent 25/30 inline system
The FS865 is the matched trickle add-on for the 25/30 Low Inline Gravity and pump-fed Inline models. It adds a separate shower-media stage to the narrow combi layout rather than changing how the main drum performs its mechanical cleaning.
Its body is 860 × 320 × 822 mm, with manufacturer reference WMC30ILT. That length differs from the conventional 25/30 Low shower, making the exact Inline identity important when planning the installation.
A shower after mechanical cleaning
Clean feed water from the drum is distributed over suitable biological shower media. Contact between the water, media and air provides another environment for bacteria to establish. The extra stage needs time to mature and should not be used to justify an immediate increase in feeding.
Choose the media for a shower arrangement, leaving open water paths and access for cleaning. Do not assume a loose Hel-X or matting bundle intended for a combi chamber is automatically the correct fill for this module.
Keep the branch within its limit
The shower accepts up to 20,000 litres/hour through its 63 mm feed. The gravity-fed 25/30 Inline can run at a higher main-filter flow, so allow a bypass or controlled branch where necessary. Sending too much water into the optional stage would undermine the benefit of adding it.
The shower also adds height above the narrow filter installation. Check the support arrangement, pipe lift and lid-access route before fitting an enclosure around the base filter.

Routine ownership
Inspect the distribution area for blocked passages and keep the discharge free. Support the wet media load independently of the supply pipe, and consider splash and seasonal cooling when positioning the assembly.
For the slightly wider 30/40 Low Inline, compare the WMC31ILT trickle module. Similar outside dimensions do not prove that two modules are interchangeable; the matched base model remains the first check.
