Installed after the Moving Bed Module, this chamber focuses on final stage biological and fine particle filtration. Therefore, it enhances overall system performance by capturing remaining suspended solids while supporting additional bacterial settlement.

Suitable for ornamental ponds up to 530,000 litres and koi ponds up to 100,000 litres, the XL Discharge Module is designed for estate lakes, large private koi ponds and high demand professional systems. ClearWave Final Stage Filtration

At the core of the module is the fixed bed ClearWave filtration system. Unlike moving media, ClearWave blocks remain static within the chamber. As a result, they provide a protected biological settlement zone while also capturing fine debris that has passed through previous stages.

Because water flows evenly through the structured media, microorganisms colonise the surface and assist in further pollutant breakdown. In addition, fine suspended particles are retained within the structure, which improves water polishing and clarity.

This final stage ensures that water returning to the pond has undergone mechanical separation, biological nitrification and then final refinement. Therefore, overall system stability and clarity are enhanced.

Oase ProfiClear Premium XL Discharge Module Pump Fed should be chosen as part of the complete air system, not just by litres per minute. Airline length, airline bore, diffuser depth, manifold taps and back pressure all affect the real airflow that reaches the pond or filter. A well matched aeration system runs more quietly, puts less strain on the pump and gives more dependable oxygen support.

• Use suitable airline size for the pump output and distance involved.
• Keep the air pump dry, ventilated and protected from flooding.
