The Oase ProfiClear Premium XL Drum Filter Pump Fed OC is a professional self cleaning drum filtration system engineered for large koi ponds, ornamental ponds and commercial aquatic installations. It builds on the proven ProfiClear Premium platform while delivering powerful mechanical filtration in pump fed configurations. As a result, it provides dependable debris removal in high demand pond environments.

Designed for ponds up to 530,000 litres in ornamental applications and up to 100,000 litres in koi systems, this XL drum module supports substantial biological load. Therefore, it is particularly well suited to large private koi ponds, estate ponds and professional installations where consistent water clarity and stable water parameters are essential.

Intelligent Self Cleaning Drum Technology

At the centre of the system sits a 60 micron stainless steel drum screen made up of 16 stainless steel sieve elements. As water is pumped into the drum chamber, the screen captures solid waste, uneaten food and fine debris before it can pass into the biological stages. Consequently, mechanical filtration takes place immediately and efficiently.

When debris begins to restrict flow, the integrated control unit automatically activates the cleaning cycle. High pressure spray jets rinse the drum surface and flush collected waste into the discharge channel. As a result, the system maintains continuous operation without manual cleaning and without interrupting circulation.

The Pump Fed OC model handles flow rates between 25,000 and 50,000 litres per hour. In addition, it features five inlets, allowing flexible integration into larger pump fed filtration layouts. Therefore, installation remains adaptable while maintaining high flow stability.

Furthermore, the drum module connects directly to the ProfiClear XL Moving Bed Module for biological filtration using Hel X bio media. It can also be paired with Oase Bitron Premium UVC clarifiers for enhanced algae control. Consequently, users can build a complete high capacity mechanical and biological filtration system tailored to pond size and stocking density.

The integrated digital controller manages automatic cleaning cycles and displays pond temperature for system monitoring. Finally, the heavy duty GRP Duroplast and stainless steel construction ensures long term durability in demanding environments.
