A correctly planned discharge route is essential for an efficient pond filtration system. Once water has passed through the filter, it must be able to return to the pond without excessive restrictions, unnecessary bends or raised sections that could interfere with the flow.

Installation Advice

Plan the complete discharge route before ordering or assembling the pipework. Identify the straight sections, bends, connectors and supports required to reach the intended return point.
