The Oase ProfiClear Premium XL Discharge Module – Gravity Fed is the final stage filtration chamber within the ProfiClear Premium XL modular system. It is specifically engineered for gravity fed installations where water flows naturally through the filtration stages before returning to the pond. As a result, it provides advanced water polishing and biological refinement in large scale pond systems.

Installed after the Moving Bed Module, this chamber enhances biological processing while also capturing fine suspended particles. Therefore, it plays a crucial role in achieving stable water parameters and professional level clarity in large koi ponds and commercial aquatic environments.

Suitable for ornamental ponds up to 530,000 litres, fish ponds up to 265,000 litres and koi ponds up to 100,000 litres, the XL Discharge Module – Gravity Fed is designed for estate lakes, professional pond builds and high demand koi systems. Consequently, it completes the multi stage filtration process within serious modular installations.

ClearWave Final Stage Biological Filtration

At the core of the module is the fixed bed ClearWave filtration system. Unlike moving media chambers, the ClearWave blocks remain static within the housing. As a result, they provide a stable biological settlement zone while also assisting with fine particle capture.

Because water passes evenly through the structured media, microorganisms colonise the surface efficiently. Therefore, additional breakdown of nitrogen compounds and dissolved pollutants takes place before water exits the system. In addition, the structured layout improves water polishing and enhances clarity in gravity fed systems.

This final stage ensures water has undergone mechanical drum separation, biological moving bed processing and then final biological refinement. Consequently, the entire system operates with greater stability and long term consistency.

Flexible Gravity Fed Integration

The ProfiClear Premium XL Discharge Module – Gravity Fed connects directly to the XL Moving Bed Module and integrates seamlessly within the ProfiClear Premium XL architecture. As a result, installers can build scalable gravity fed filtration systems with confidence.

The unit features five DN110 outlets and four Tradux 2 inch inlets, allowing flexible pipework configuration and integration with high performance circulation pumps and UV clarifiers. Therefore, it supports customised layouts in large installations.

Furthermore, the integrated bottom drain with precision slide valve enables efficient sludge discharge and straightforward maintenance. Because of this design, servicing remains practical even in high capacity pond systems.
