The Oase ProfiClear Premium Discharge Module L is the final biological polishing stage within the ProfiClear Premium L modular filtration system. Positioned after the Moving Bed Module, it refines water quality before clean water returns to the pond.

Designed specifically for large koi ponds and high demand systems, this module increases biological processing capacity while stabilising water parameters. By incorporating high density ClearWave Blocks, it provides substantial additional surface area for nitrifying bacteria to colonise and mature.

As a result, ammonia and nitrite conversion improves, overall clarity increases, and system stability strengthens in heavily stocked environments.

How the Oase ProfiClear Premium Discharge Module L Works

Water flows directly from the Moving Bed Module into the Discharge Module through dual 150 mm inlets.

It then passes through densely structured ClearWave Blocks, which provide extensive biological settlement area.

Within this media:

• Ammonia is converted to nitrite
• Nitrite is converted to nitrate
• Dissolved organic waste is biologically processed

An integrated aeration connection allows optional air pump integration. When aerated, oxygen availability increases and biological efficiency improves further.

Finally, purified water exits through dual 110 mm outlets and returns steadily to the pond.

A well matched aeration system runs more quietly, puts less strain on the pump and gives more dependable oxygen support.

• Use suitable airline size for the pump output and distance involved.
• Keep the air pump dry, ventilated and protected from flooding.
• Spread airflow across multiple diffusers on larger ponds where possible.
• Check diaphragms, filters and diffusers during routine servicing.
