The Oase ProfiClear Premium Standing Bed Module L is a static biological filtration chamber designed to integrate within the ProfiClear Premium L modular system. Positioned after mechanical separation stages, it increases biological processing capacity and improves overall water stability in large koi ponds and high load systems.

Using structured ClearWave Blocks arranged in a curved honeycomb configuration, the module provides extensive protected surface area for nitrifying bacteria. This structure improves contact time between water and media while maintaining stable flow conditions.

As a result, ammonia and nitrite conversion efficiency increases, biological buffering improves, and water clarity stabilises in demanding pond environments.

How the Oase ProfiClear Premium Standing Bed Module L Works

Water enters the module from the Moving Bed Module via dual 150 mm inlet connections.

It then flows evenly through densely structured ClearWave Blocks. Because the media remains static, water contact time increases, allowing bacterial colonies to process dissolved waste compounds more effectively.

Within the media:

• Ammonia converts to nitrite
• Nitrite converts to nitrate
• Dissolved organic compounds are biologically reduced

An integrated aeration connection allows optional air pump support. When aeration is added, oxygen levels rise and bacterial performance improves further.

Finally, treated water exits through dual 110 mm outlet connections and returns to the pond.
