The Oase FiltoClear 60000 Set OC is a complete high performance pressurised filtration system designed for large ornamental ponds, swim ponds and well stocked fish ponds. Supplied with 2 x AquaMax Eco Premium 17000 pumps and an integrated 84 watt UV clarifier, this system delivers strong mechanical filtration, reliable biological processing and effective green water control straight out of the box.

Because this is a pressurised filter, clean water can be returned above pond level without reducing performance. The sealed container is rated to operate at pressures up to 1.5 bar, allowing water to feed waterfalls, raised spillways and longer return pipe runs with confidence. In addition, the twin 2 inch inlet design allows two suction points in the pond, improving circulation and debris collection across a wider area.

The filter body is engineered to handle flow rates of up to 20000 litres per hour. Internally, it uses a multi stage foam system made up of coarse, medium and fine filter foams, ensuring effective mechanical separation before biological polishing. A built in pollutant indicator provides a clear visual signal when cleaning is required.

The integrated 84 watt UV clarifier controls suspended algae and helps maintain clear water, while the UV lamp can be serviced without dismantling the entire system. The patented internal cleaning system allows fast maintenance without removing filter foams or disconnecting pipework. Dirty water is discharged separately through the sludge outlet, keeping servicing clean and straightforward.

Supplied with two Oase AquaMax Eco Premium 17000 pumps, this set provides balanced hydraulic flow and strong real world turnover rates when correctly sized to pond volume and stocking density.

The FiltoClear 60000 Set OC measures approximately 670 x 600 x 760 mm and weighs around 15 kg. It can be buried up to the filter head for discreet installation, making it suitable for high end garden builds where appearance matters as much as performance.

The twin pump configuration improves solids transport to the filter and reduces stagnant areas within the pond. As a result, overall water movement and filtration efficiency improve, particularly in larger pond layouts.

UV sizing and maintenance notes

Oase FiltoClear 60000 Set OC Pond Filter should be matched to the pond volume, flow rate and water clarity problem you are trying to solve. UV clarification works best when water passes the lamp at a suitable speed and the quartz sleeve is kept clean. If the flow is too fast, contact time can be reduced. If the lamp is old or the quartz sleeve is dirty, performance can drop even when the unit still appears to be switched on.

• Replace UV lamps as part of routine seasonal maintenance.
• Clean or inspect the quartz sleeve when water clarity starts to deteriorate.
• Match the UV to the pump and filter rather than installing it in isolation.
• Allow safe access for lamp changes and winter maintenance.

Good UV performance also depends on mechanical filtration. Removing fine debris before the UV helps the lamp work on green water algae more effectively.
