The Oase BioTec ScreenMatic2 90000 Filter UV and Pump Set OC is the largest and most powerful automated filtration system in the ScreenMatic2 range. Designed for large koi ponds and heavily stocked systems up to 90000 litres, this professional grade setup combines advanced mechanical screening, high capacity biological filtration, a smart controllable pump and a powerful 110W UV clarifier.

Unlike conventional box filters, the ScreenMatic2 system uses a 300 micron automated belt pre filter that removes solid waste before it reaches the biological chamber. As a result, the biological media remains cleaner, performance stays consistent and manual maintenance is dramatically reduced.

The OC designation confirms that the included pump is compatible with Oase Control systems, allowing digital flow adjustment and monitoring when paired with an Oase Eco Controller.

Automated Mechanical Pre Filtration with Intelligent Belt System

Water is delivered to the Oase ScreenMatic 90000 filter by the Oase AquaMax Eco Premium 21000 OC pump. This high performance solids handling pump delivers a maximum flow rate of 21000 litres per hour and is capable of transporting particles up to 11mm.

The first filtration stage is the automated 300 micron fabric belt. Integrated sensors continuously monitor debris levels. When dirt accumulation increases, the Screendrive motor automatically advances the belt and deposits waste into a large removable collection tray.

Because coarse solids are removed before reaching the biological stage, sponge media remains more efficient and long term maintenance intervals are extended.

High Volume Biological Filtration with Zeolite Support

After mechanical separation, water enters the large biological chamber containing sixteen graduated density filter foams:

• 4 blue foams
• 6 red foams
• 6 purple foams

These provide extensive surface area for beneficial bacteria, supporting nitrification and ammonia breakdown in high waste environments.

The system also includes 5kg of zeolite granulate media. Zeolite binds excess ammonia and nutrients, helping stabilise water chemistry and reduce algae growth in heavily stocked ponds.

For cleaning, the patented compression handle allows the foams to be squeezed directly inside the housing. Waste is discharged via the sludge drain without removing the sponges.

Oase Bitron 110C UV Clarifier for Maximum Algae Control

For ultraviolet treatment, the system includes the Oase Bitron 110C UV clarifier.

This high output 110W UV unit neutralises single celled algae responsible for green water while reducing harmful bacteria and pathogens. In large koi ponds where nutrient loads are high, this level of UV power ensures reliable water clarity.

The clumped algae are then removed by the mechanical and biological stages, completing the filtration cycle.

Smart Pump Integration with Oase AquaMax Eco Premium 21000 OC

The included Oase AquaMax Eco Premium 21000 OC pump provides powerful yet energy efficient water circulation.

Because it is an OC model, the pump can be electronically controlled via compatible Oase Control systems. Flow rate can be adjusted seasonally, reducing energy consumption during cooler months while maintaining appropriate turnover rates.
