Stainless Steel Hose Clips 10mm to 120mm
Stainless steel hose clips for pond hose, hose tails and flexible pipe connections
These Stainless Steel Hose Clips are used to secure flexible pond hose, rubber pipework, air hose and general water pipe connections onto compatible hose tails and fittings. They are a simple but important part of a reliable pond installation, because a loose hose connection can lead to leaks, reduced pump performance or a pipe being pushed off under pressure.
The clips are made from A2 stainless steel with a stainless finish and a hex head screw for tightening. They are suitable for interior and exterior use, making them a practical choice around ponds, filters, pumps, UV clarifiers and water features. The 13mm strap width gives a firm clamping area, while the 0.6mm strap thickness keeps the clip flexible enough to tighten evenly around round hose and pipework.
Choose the clip size by measuring the outside diameter of the hose once it is fitted over the hose tail or pipe connection. The clip range should comfortably cover that finished outside diameter, not just the nominal hose size printed on the hose. If the hose is close to the top of one size range, it is usually better to move up to the next size so the clip has enough adjustment left for easy fitting.

Where these hose clips are used
- Securing flexible pond hose to pump outlets, filter inlets and UV clarifier connections.
- Clamping hose onto stepped hose tails, threaded hose tails and barbed fittings.
- Holding flexible hose in place on water features, waterfalls, filter returns and bypass pipework.
- General exterior hose and pipework jobs where a stainless steel clip is preferred.
Choosing the correct size
For flexible pond hose, first push the hose fully onto the fitting, then place the hose clip behind the raised barb or shoulder of the hose tail. Tighten firmly, but do not overtighten to the point that the hose is cut or distorted. A good connection should compress evenly around the hose and remain secure when the pump is running.
These clips work well with our standard flexible pond hose, heavy duty flexible pond hose, stepped hose tails and threaded black stepped hose tails. For koi pond pipework, choose the hose clip size based on the actual outside diameter of the hose once it is fitted, rather than guessing from the pipe size alone.

Related hose and airline products
These clips are commonly used with flexible pond hose, stepped hose tails, pump outlets, UV bypass pipework and larger airline connections. For hose installations, compare them with our Heavy Duty Flexible Pond Hose and standard flexible pond hose pages. For aeration installs, they can also be used where a larger airline or barbed fitting benefits from extra clamping support.
Related 8mm outlet manifold
For systems that need one larger inlet feeding four 8mm outlet lines, see the 4 Way Air Manifold with 8mm to 14mm Inlet and 8mm Outlets. It is useful when a main 8mm, 10mm, 12mm or 14mm air feed needs to be split neatly to four 8mm diffuser or airline runs.
