The Oase BioTec ScreenMatic2 60000 Filter UV and Pump Set OC is a professional grade, high capacity pond filtration system designed for large garden ponds and koi ponds up to 60000 litres. This complete automated package combines advanced mechanical screening, high volume biological filtration, a powerful smart pump and a 55W UV clarifier to deliver exceptional water clarity with minimal manual intervention.

Unlike standard box filters, the ScreenMatic2 system uses a 300 micron automated belt pre filter that removes solid waste before it reaches the biological chamber. As a result, maintenance is reduced and biological performance remains stable for longer.

The OC designation confirms that the included pump is compatible with Oase Control systems, allowing electronic monitoring and smart flow adjustment when paired with an Oase Eco Controller.

Automated Mechanical Pre Filtration with Dirt Sensor

Water is delivered to the Oase ScreenMatic 60000 filter by the Oase AquaMax Eco Premium 17000 OC pump. This high performance solids handling pump is capable of moving particles up to 11mm and provides a maximum flow rate of 17000 litres per hour.

The first stage of filtration is the automated 300 micron fabric belt. A built in sensor continuously monitors debris accumulation. When dirt levels increase, the Screendrive motor activates automatically and advances the belt, transporting waste into a collection tray.

Because coarse solids are removed before reaching the biological stage, filter foams remain cleaner, water flow stays consistent and overall maintenance is dramatically reduced.

High Capacity Biological Filtration with Zeolite Support

After mechanical separation, water passes into the biological chamber containing eight graduated density filter foams:

• 2 blue foams
• 3 red foams
• 3 purple foams

These sponges provide a large surface area for beneficial bacteria, supporting nitrification and ammonia breakdown.

The system also includes 3.5kg of zeolite granulate media. Zeolite binds excess ammonia and nutrients, helping stabilise water chemistry and reduce algae growth.

For cleaning, the patented compression handle allows the foams to be squeezed directly within the housing. Waste is then discharged via the sludge outlet without removing the sponges.

Oase Bitron C 55W UV Clarifier for Powerful Green Water Control

For ultraviolet treatment, the system includes the Oase Bitron C 55W UV clarifier.

This high output UV unit neutralises single celled algae responsible for green water and reduces harmful bacteria and pathogens. The result is improved clarity and healthier conditions for fish and aquatic life.

The clumped algae are then captured by the mechanical and biological stages, completing the filtration cycle.

Smart Pump Integration with Oase AquaMax Eco Premium 17000 OC

The included Oase AquaMax Eco Premium 17000 pump provides energy efficient and reliable water circulation.

As an OC model, it can be electronically controlled via compatible Oase Control systems. Flow rate can be adjusted seasonally, allowing reduced energy consumption during cooler months while maintaining proper filtration.
