The Oase FiltoClear 90000 Set OC Pond Filter is a complete high capacity filtration system designed for very large ponds, koi ponds and substantial water features where performance, reliability and water clarity are critical. As a result, it is particularly well suited to larger installations and heavier stocking levels.

This all in one set combines the Oase FiltoClear 90000 pressurised pond filter with two powerful Oase AquaMax Eco Premium 21000 pumps. Together, they provide outstanding mechanical and biological filtration alongside strong, balanced water circulation.

Designed for ornamental ponds up to 90000 litres, fish ponds up to 45000 litres and koi ponds up to 22500 litres, this system offers serious capacity. Because it is a pressurised filter, clean water can be pumped uphill without loss of performance. Therefore, it is ideal for large waterfalls, decorative streams and raised return points.

The robust filter body is rated to operate at pressures up to 1.5 bar. This allows confident use with high output pumps and longer pipe runs. In addition, the twin 2 inch inlet and outlet configuration, unique to the 60000 and 90000 models, helps minimise flow restriction and supports improved hydraulic performance across larger pond systems.

Filtration Performance and Maintenance

At the heart of the system is a high output integrated 120 watt UV clarifier. This powerful UV unit effectively controls green water and suspended algae. Consequently, pond clarity remains stable even in larger volumes.

For added convenience, the UV lamp can be accessed and maintained while the filter remains running. This ensures uninterrupted circulation and reduces maintenance downtime.

Internally, the FiltoClear 90000 is equipped with 24 filter foams in total. Specifically, this includes 4 green super fine foams, 4 blue coarse foams, 8 purple medium foams and 8 red fine foams. As a result, debris is captured progressively while beneficial bacteria are supported for stable biological filtration.

The filter handles flow rates of up to 23000 litres per hour. When paired with the supplied twin Oase AquaMax Eco Premium 21000 pumps, the setup delivers excellent circulation. In turn, this allows two suction points within the pond, improving debris collection and enhancing overall water movement.

Maintenance remains quick and hygienic thanks to the patented internal cleaning mechanism. Using the supplied cleaning handle, the internal foam quadrants are compressed. As debris is released, it is flushed out through a separate dirty water outlet.

Importantly, there is no need to remove or manually rinse dirty foams. Instead, waste water can be directed to a drain or reused for garden irrigation.

Finally, for discreet installations, the Oase FiltoClear 90000 Set OC can be buried in the ground up to the filter head. This keeps the system largely hidden while maintaining easy access to controls and servicing points.
