In-Lite SHIELD 1 Glare Guard for MINI SCOPE
SHIELD 1 clips over the lens of MINI SCOPE to block direct view of the LED from one side. It helps preserve the illuminated planting or feature while preventing the fitting itself from becoming the brightest and most distracting part of the scene.
How this accessory improves the light
Turn the shield towards the main viewing position, such as a path, terrace or window. The open side still allows the MINI SCOPE beam to reach the subject. Test the fitting after dark before settling the final orientation; a small rotation is often enough to remove discomfort without losing the intended accent.
Compatibility and important limits
SHIELD 1 is sized for MINI SCOPE and clips onto its lens. Use SHIELD 2 with the larger SCOPE-family body. A shield is useful for one principal viewing direction, but it cannot correct a spotlight aimed straight towards several approaches.
