RISER 2 lifts a compatible SCOPE-family spotlight above border planting and adjusts from approximately 350mm to 530mm. The extra range is valuable in mixed or seasonal planting where the beam needs to clear foliage at different heights during the year.

How this accessory improves the light

Push the reinforced ground pin into firm soil, route the fixture cable through the integrated grommet and set the pole just high enough to achieve a clear beam. Recheck it as grasses, perennials and shrubs develop. Avoid displaying more pole than necessary; the light effect should remain the focus.

Compatibility and important limits

RISER 2 supports MINI SCOPE, SCOPE, BIG SCOPE and BIG SCOPE NARROW. The spotlight is not included. Choose the fixed RISER 1 where 350mm is reliably sufficient and adjustment is not needed.

Complete the spotlight installation

Use with a suitable model from the In-Lite spotlight range and aim the raised beam away from normal eye lines.

Test the light after dark before completing the cable route or planting around it. Glare control and riser height are easiest to judge from the real viewing positions in the finished garden.

Position the beam for the feature, not the fitting

Use In-Lite RISER 2 Adjustable 350–530mm Spotlight Riser to light the face and structure of the subject rather than simply aiming at its base. Move the trial position around the tree, sculpture, wall or planting after dark; a small change in distance or angle can produce more depth and much less glare. Where the source can be seen from a path or seat, a compatible shield or honeycomb accessory is usually worth considering.

For larger trees, two restrained beams from different positions generally look more natural than one fitting driven at the limit of its reach. Keep the cable and EASY-LOCK accessible so the aiming position can still be adjusted as planting matures.
