In-Lite LIV LOW 12V Bollard & Border Light

LIV LOW is a slim, understated In-Lite bollard that throws a soft 360-degree glow around paths, terraces and planted borders. At 372mm high, it is particularly well suited to low planting and open path edges. The integrated LED is deliberately modest rather than harsh, helping you see the route while keeping the garden atmospheric.

Four coordinated finishes are available: Dark Grey, Corten, Rose Silver and White. The aluminium body uses In-Lite’s durable FCBV coating, so it can be matched with other LIV and ACE fittings throughout a scheme.

A gentle all-round light rather than a visible beam

LIV is designed for ambience and route definition. Its diffuser spreads 60 lumens evenly around the fitting at a warm 2750K, with CRI 95 helping planting and surface colours look natural after dark. It does not produce the strong directional pools associated with ACE or SCOPE.

In-Lite suggests a starting spacing of approximately 2 to 2.5 metres. Move fittings closer where continuous path guidance is important, or farther apart where separate pools of light suit the landscape. Always test after dark before committing every fixing point.

Choosing between LIV and LIV LOW

Choose LIV LOW where the fitting should sit just above low groundcover, beside paving or around a terrace. Choose the 612mm LIV when foliage will grow taller or you want the light visible above a deeper border. Compare the taller LIV before deciding, because the electrical and optical performance is the same; it is the installation height that changes.

Install in soft ground or on a hard surface

A ground pin is supplied for soil, grass or gravel, together with fixings for a suitable hard surface. The fitting includes 60cm of fixture cable and an EASY-LOCK for connection anywhere along genuine In-Lite system cable.

Prepare a stable, level base, keep the cable and connector accessible and avoid positions where garden tools or vehicle tyres could strike the body. Use an In-Lite CBL-EXT CORD if the fitting cable cannot conveniently reach the planned main-cable route.

Plan the complete In-Lite circuit

Add 2.5VA for every LIV fitting when sizing the transformer. Mark the proposed fitting and cable positions on a sketch, total the load on each route and use the correct In-Lite system cable.
