In-Lite ACE Adjustable 12V Path Light

ACE is a compact 205mm path and border light with a tilting light source. Instead of simply spreading light equally in every direction, the lamp can be aimed towards the part of the path, drive, planting or wall that actually needs to be seen. This makes ACE useful as both a practical route light and a controlled garden accent.

The clean aluminium body is available in several finishes, allowing the same ACE design language to continue through matching ACE HIGH, ACE DOWN and ACE UP-DOWN fittings. Used consistently, that creates a calmer scheme than mixing unrelated path and wall lights around the same garden.

Where ACE works best

• along a path or drive where the beam can be angled onto the walking surface;
• beside steps and level changes that need gentle local illumination;
• at the edge of a border, with light tilted towards foliage or a feature;
• around terraces where a lower fitting is preferable to a tall bollard;
• near fences, pots or low walls that benefit from a controlled warm-white accent.

A path light should help people see without creating a row of bright sources. Space ACE fittings according to the actual beam and surroundings, not an arbitrary equal interval. Alternating sides or allowing a little variation often looks more natural than a perfectly straight runway effect.

Aim the tilting light source carefully

The 173-lumen beam can be tilted towards the route or feature. Set the direction after dark and check it from both approaches. A fitting that feels comfortable when walking one way may point into the eyes on the return route. Keep the source below normal sight lines and use the illuminated surface to guide the eye.

ACE can be mounted in soft ground with the supplied stake or fixed to a suitable hard surface using the included screws and plugs. Leave access to the Torx fixing and cable connection so the angle can be adjusted and the fitting serviced without disturbing finished landscaping.

Choose the right height and finish

ACE is approximately 205mm high, making it the lower and more discreet option in the concept. Choose ACE HIGH when the beam must clear taller planting or be visible across a deeper border. The finishes allow coordination with paving, walls and other In-Lite fittings; select the finish as part of the whole scheme rather than treating each product in isolation.

Connect ACE to the In-Lite system

ACE includes a 0.6m fixture cable and EASY-LOCK for connection to genuine In-Lite CBL system cable. Add an In-Lite CBL-EXT CORD if the main cable cannot conveniently pass near the final position.

The fitting requires a compatible In-Lite transformer. Allow 5.3 VA per ACE in the load calculation, not just its 3W power consumption. Group path lights into a sensible control zone and leave capacity only where later additions are genuinely expected.
