CBL-EXT CORD increases the fixture-side distance between an In-Lite light and its EASY-LOCK on the main system cable. It is available in one, two and three-metre lengths and uses the matching push-fit mini-connectors, avoiding an improvised cable joint in the garden.

How and where to use it

Fit the extension between the fitting mini-connector and the mini-connector from the EASY-LOCK. It can also extend the distance between a compatible light sensor and transformer. This is useful for wall lights, elevated fittings and carefully concealed spotlights when the main CBL route cannot reasonably pass within the length of the attached fixture cable.

Important compatibility and installation limits

The manufacturer permits the fixture-to-main-cable distance to be extended by up to four metres in total. For example, combine a 1m and 3m lead when the full four metres is required. Use the shortest practical extension and do not mistake CBL-EXT CORD for a replacement for the heavier main CBL 14/2 or 10/2 system cable.
