In-Lite DOT 22 Direct 12V Recessed Path Light
DOT 22 is a compact direct-light marker for driveways and garden paths. Its 22mm light source is easy to repeat as a clean route line, while optional Ring 28 finishes provide a deliberate bezel where the installation surface calls for one.
The 2850K, CRI 97 output gives a defined point with highly natural colour. Unlike several older small In-Lite ground spots, DOT 22 is suitable for all current HUB transformers, including SMART HUB-300.
Where this light works best
Place fittings approximately 1.5 to 2 metres apart as a starting point. Mix DOT 22 with the larger DOT where a more playful scale change suits the design.
Set out the complete run after dark before drilling every finished surface. Consistent spacing looks formal; deliberately mixed spacing and sizes creates a softer, more natural constellation.
Choose the right recessed effect
Choose DOT for a clearer direct point, FUSION for a softer frosted glow or HYVE for a visible honeycomb texture.
Compare the complete In-Lite recessed-light range before deciding, because visible diameter, lens treatment and beam direction change the result as much as lumen output.
Installation planning
Drill the opening straight and to the current In-Lite template for this exact fitting. Use a suitable wood bit for timber or a cooled diamond drill for stone, protect the cable from sharp edges and provide drainage so water cannot remain around the body.
The supplied EASY-LOCK connects to genuine In-Lite system cable. In soil, gravel or loose aggregate, choose the specified In-Lite mounting accessory instead of burying an unsupported fitting.
