CABLE CAP STANDARD is the correct finishing cap for the two separated conductors at the end of In-Lite 14/2 system cable. This pack contains twenty caps, enough to finish ten cut cable ends when one cap is fitted to each conductor.

How and where to use it

An In-Lite main cable can finish at any suitable point; it does not need to return to the transformer or form a loop. The exposed end must, however, be finished properly. Separate the last three centimetres of the two-core cable and push one cap onto each insulated conductor. Do not strip away the insulation.

Important compatibility and installation limits

These caps are sized for 14/2 cable. Use CABLE CAP MEDIUM for the thicker 10/2 system cable. New transformers and cable bundles may already include the caps required for the initial installation, so check what is supplied before ordering an additional pack.
