Position the wired MOVE detector where it can work properly

The In-Lite MOVE-EXT CORD is the dedicated five-metre extension lead for the wired MOVE motion detector. It lets the sensor sit farther away from a compatible conventional HUB transformer, which is useful when the transformer is sheltered in a shed or enclosure but the best detection position is beside a path, gate or approach.

Extend a MOVE installation by up to 20 metres

One lead adds five metres. Up to four MOVE-EXT CORD 5 leads may be connected in sequence, giving a maximum extension of twenty metres between MOVE and the HUB. Use only as many as the layout needs and protect the plug connections in accordance with the current installation instructions.

Important compatibility distinction

This is a signal extension for MOVE, not a lighting extension cable. It must not be used between an In-Lite light and its EASY-LOCK. Use an In-Lite CBL-EXT CORD for a light fitting. MOVE is the wired detector for compatible conventional HUB transformers; a SMART MOVE is used with the smart system.

In-Lite MOVE-EXT CORD 5m Extension Cable should be selected by its actual connection and job in the circuit, not by appearance alone. In-Lite main cable, fixture-side extension leads and family-specific drivers are not interchangeable simply because two plugs look similar. Match the product name, supplier SKU and manufacturer reference to the current installation instructions.

Lay out the route before burying or enclosing anything. Keep serviceable connections accessible, protect cable from sharp edges and future digging, and test the complete lighting section before the final surface is reinstated.
