BREEZE is a slender 360-degree planting light designed to move naturally among ornamental grasses, shrubs and border planting. Its ribbed smoked-look lens conceals a modern COB LED strip, creating a continuous diffuse line of warm light without visible individual LED points.

The distinctive feature is In-Lite Breathe: each fitting gently brightens and dims through its own approximately fifteen-second cycle. The effect is subtle rather than theatrical. Because every BREEZE starts at a different point, a group of fittings does not pulse in synchronisation; the overall border remains balanced while small areas of light slowly shift.

Choose BREEZE LOW or the taller BREEZE

BREEZE is available in two heights: approximately 600mm and 1000mm. Use the lower model among compact shrubs, pots and medium planting. Choose the taller fitting for ornamental grasses and deeper borders where the light needs to emerge through higher foliage. Combining both heights creates a more natural layered effect than repeating one identical level.

Where the breathing light works best

• between ornamental grasses that move around the flexible stem;
• through mixed borders with flowers and shrubs at several heights;
• inside large planters beside a terrace or entrance;
• in small groups where independent cycles create depth;
• as atmospheric planting light rather than primary route illumination.

BREEZE is deliberately soft: the 40-lumen output is intended to reveal nearby planting, not replace a path light or flood a large area. Around steps and routes, combine it with a purpose-designed path, wall or recessed fitting.

Positioning and installation

In-Lite suggests varying heights and spacing, with roughly one metre between fittings as a useful starting point. The planting and viewing distance should determine the final layout. Turn the ground pin into the base and press it into soft ground. If the soil is hard, make the hole with the spike first and then attach the fitting; do not force the light into the ground by pushing on its top.

The flexible tube can move with wind, making BREEZE suitable for exposed planting. Keep the base and cable accessible and make sure vigorous plants cannot pull the connection as they are pruned or divided.

Connect BREEZE to any compatible HUB

BREEZE connects through its supplied EASY-LOCK to genuine In-Lite CBL system cable. It does not require a SMART HUB: the Breathe effect is built into each fitting and cannot be adjusted or synchronised in the app.

Allow 1.7 VA per fitting in the transformer calculation. The low individual load makes a group practical, but every light still counts towards the selected transformer capacity.
