EVO FLEX is a component system

Do not select flexible strip by length alone. Establish whether the product is a complete set or a replacement/extension component, choose the correct driver, confirm the maximum supported length and select the profiles, clips, corners, spikes and extension lead needed for the actual route. SMART EVO FLEX and SMART EVO FLEX TONE use their specified smart drivers and should not be mixed casually with standard components.

Design the line of light before fixing it

A flexible strip exposes uneven setting-out. Mark the beginning, end, corners, joints and cable exit; check that the driver remains accessible; and test the light against the finished material. Pale stone can reflect a great deal of light, while dark timber may need the source closer to the working surface.

Use wall and ceiling lights for broader illumination from a building and path lights for freestanding route guidance. Decorative and linear products work best as part of that layered scheme.

Why use an aluminium profile?

A compatible profile supports a straight, deliberate installation, protects the presentation of the strip and helps conceal or manage the cable route. Choose the profile made for the intended detail.

Can EVO FLEX follow a curve?

Some flexible profiles and strip arrangements can follow suitable curves, but bend radius, orientation and cutting rules still apply. Do not force a sharp corner.

Can I cut EVO FLEX anywhere?

No. Only cut or configure the product at positions and in ways permitted by the current instructions. An incorrect cut can permanently damage the strip and compromise weather protection.

Where should the driver be installed?

Place it in the position required by the instructions, within cable limits and where it remains accessible for inspection or replacement. Do not seal it permanently inside an inaccessible structure.
