Blagdon InPond All-in-One Pond Filter & Pump

Blagdon InPond all-in-one filters, pumps, UVCs and fountains

Blagdon InPond systems put the main pieces of a small ornamental pond installation into one unit inside the water: mechanical and biological filtration, a circulation pump, ultraviolet clarification, fountain equipment and an LED spotlight. The 9000 model adds an extra function and more capacity for larger ponds.

These are a neat answer where you do not want an external filter box beside the pond. They are especially useful for formal and ornamental ponds where a visible fountain and simple equipment layout matter. The trade-off is that the unit must be lifted from the pond for maintenance, so position it where it can be reached safely.

Compare InPond models

The model number is a useful starting point, not a promise that every pond of that volume will remain clear. Heavy fish stocking, full sun, overfeeding, shallow warm water and falling leaves all increase the load. If your pond is heavily stocked or exposed, choose with extra capacity or ask us to check the installation.

What the integrated system does

• Mechanical filtration captures suspended debris in the replaceable and washable media.
• Biological media provides surface area for beneficial filter bacteria.
• UVC clarification helps control the free-floating algae responsible for green water.
• Circulation and fountain display move and aerate water through the supplied heads.
• LED lighting adds an illuminated focal point after dark.

Maintenance that keeps an InPond working properly

Clean the mechanical media in pond water when flow falls, inspect the impeller and fountain outlets, and replace consumable media or UVC lamps at the appropriate interval. Do not wash biological media under chlorinated tap water. The individual maintenance kits, polymer wool, ceramic media and UVC spares are model specific, so check the name before ordering.

Plan the whole pond, not just the filter

Keep the fountain within the pond perimeter so wind cannot empty the pond gradually. Remove sludge and fallen leaves before they overload the internal filter, and use a dechlorinator whenever significant tap water is added.
