Genuine spare lamp for the InPond 3000, 6000 and 9000 spotlight

Restore the decorative spotlight on your compatible Blagdon InPond filter with replacement LED lamp 1051330. This is the small lamp fitted inside the existing spotlight assembly. It is useful when that component needs replacing and the rest of the light, pump and filter remain serviceable.

Blagdon’s InPond instructions identify this component as a 0.76W LED lamp in the parts lists for the 3000, 6000 and 9000. Match the reference with your own equipment before ordering. The lamp is separate from the UV clarifier bulb inside the filter, which performs a different job and has its own replacement requirements.

If you have an older filter, check its identification label and the spare-parts diagram supplied with it. A photograph of the filter, spotlight and label is helpful if you need us to check the choice. Older equipment can have replacement assemblies fitted during its working life, so the part currently installed deserves attention as well as the name on the original box.

The spotlight and UV clarifier have different jobs

The visible spotlight is there to illuminate the fountain or water feature. The UV clarifier is part of the filter’s water-treatment system. Replacing the decorative LED addresses the lighting component; it does not renew the clarifier or replace worn filter media. This distinction matters when ordering, because both parts may be described as lamps but they are fitted in different places.

Use the location of the failed component to help identify the job. For the external spotlight, check the LED reference and the light assembly. For the enclosed UV section, consult the filter’s model-specific instructions and the correct UV spare information. If the issue is reduced water flow, inspect the filter and pump rather than assuming that a lighting spare will resolve it.

Inspect the existing assembly before replacing the lamp

Before you order, look at the condition of the spotlight housing, clear cover and retaining cap. A replacement lamp is intended for a sound assembly. If the housing has been damaged or water has entered where it should not, the cause needs attention before the equipment is used again. Keep the equipment disconnected while inspecting it and seek help if you are unsure about its condition.

Photograph the way the parts fit together before dismantling them. This provides a useful reference for reassembly, especially when the filter is several years old or its printed instructions have been misplaced. Keep small fittings together in a clean tray so that they cannot fall into the pond or disappear among gravel and plants.

Replacing the LED lamp

Disconnect and isolate the power before opening the light. The InPond manual describes access by undoing the lamp screw cap and removing the clear cover, allowing the LED lamp to be disconnected. Follow the instructions for your own model and retain the surrounding parts carefully. The lamp, clear cover, screw cap and spotlight body are separate components in the manufacturer’s diagram.

Do not pull the equipment out of the pond by its electrical cable or force a fitting that is stuck. Support the unit properly and work where the small parts can be handled safely. If the assembly does not match the illustrated arrangement, stop and identify it before continuing. This avoids damaging an otherwise serviceable light while trying to fit the wrong component.

After fitting, check that the surrounding parts are correctly seated and the assembly is fully closed before restoring power. If the light still does not operate, further fault-finding may be needed. A new lamp alone cannot correct damage elsewhere in the lighting system, so repeated lamp replacement is not a substitute for identifying the cause.
