Intelligent Drum Technology with Integrated Moving Bed Filtration

At the core of the system sits a 60 micron stainless steel drum screen. As water flows by gravity from bottom drains and skimmers into the drum chamber, the screen captures solid waste, uneaten food and fine suspended particles. Consequently, mechanical filtration occurs before water enters the biological stage.

When debris accumulation begins to restrict flow, the integrated controller activates the automatic cleaning cycle. Airline length, airline bore, diffuser depth, manifold taps and back pressure all affect the real airflow that reaches the pond or filter.
