Intelligent Drum Technology with Integrated Moving Bed Filtration

At the core of the Compact M Pump Fed system sits a 60 micron stainless steel drum screen. As water is pumped into the drum chamber, the screen captures fine suspended solids, uneaten food and organic debris. Consequently, mechanical filtration takes place before water reaches the biological stage.

When debris accumulation begins to restrict flow, the automated cleaning cycle activates. High pressure spray jets then rinse the drum surface and flush collected waste into the discharge channel. As a result, the filter maintains continuous operation without manual cleaning or interruption.

After mechanical filtration, water enters the integrated moving bed chamber filled with Hel X 13 bio media. Airline length, airline bore, diffuser depth, manifold taps and back pressure all affect the real airflow that reaches the pond or filter.
