Eco Control Technology and Energy Efficiency

The unit uses dual 60 watt UVC lamps developed in collaboration with Philips. These lamps offer an extended service life of up to 12000 hours, which is approximately 50% longer than standard UV bulbs. Consequently, you benefit from reduced maintenance costs and fewer bulb replacements.

The high volume housing increases water retention time within the irradiation chamber. Because of this extended exposure, the unit delivers highly effective treatment of suspended algae and harmful microorganisms even at flow rates of up to 50000 litres per hour.

An intelligent automatic bypass regulation system adjusts internal water distribution based on flow rate changes. Therefore, the Bitron Eco maintains optimal UV exposure whether the system operates at minimum or maximum flow.

Maintenance remains straightforward. The automatic cleaning rotor continuously cleans the quartz sleeves, preventing limescale and debris build up. In addition, the lamp can be replaced easily without dismantling the quartz glass, which reduces servicing time.
