High capacity Nexus 320 Ti filtration with automatic cleaning
This bundle pairs the Evolution Aqua Nexus 320 Ti with the correct Nexus Automatic cleaning system and a free genuine Nexus lid. It gives larger koi ponds the established Nexus combination of mechanical filtration, an aerated moving bed and built in UV clarification, while automating the regular cleaning sequence.
Choose the gravity fed or pump fed option to match the way your pond is installed. The hardware is not identical, so the selected option determines which automatic system is supplied. Whichever layout you choose, the bundle costs £250 less than the normal combined component price.
What is included
- Evolution Aqua Nexus 320 Ti pond filter, with Eazy mechanical filtration, a high capacity moving bed biological chamber and two integrated 55 watt Titanium enhanced UV clarifiers
- The correct Nexus Automatic cleaning system for your selected installation type
- Free genuine Evolution Aqua Nexus lid
- All standard equipment normally supplied with the selected Nexus filter and automatic system
Not included: the pond circulation pump, media chamber air pump and site specific pipework. These are left out deliberately so a large system is not burdened with unsuitable generic equipment. The right choices depend on actual flow after head loss, pipe diameter, filter position and final media volume.
Why this is a strong automatic koi filtration package
The Nexus 320 Ti is designed for demanding koi ponds where solids handling and biological capacity both matter. Its Eazy section captures suspended debris before water enters the aerated K+ media chamber. The moving media supports the bacteria responsible for biological filtration, while two built in 55 watt Titanium enhanced UV clarifiers help manage green water without a separate external UV unit.
The Nexus Automatic system runs the normal cleaning sequence at programmed intervals, controlling the relevant pump, air and waste functions for the chosen layout. The standard schedule is approximately once every three days and can be adjusted for the pond. A cleaning cycle takes around ten minutes. It reduces routine hands on cleaning, but owners should still inspect the equipment, waste route, water level and media movement as part of sensible pond maintenance.
Gravity fed or pump fed
Gravity Fed: use this option when bottom drains or suitable gravity lines feed the Nexus and the water pump is installed after the filter. It includes the dedicated Nexus 320 gravity fed automatic system, including the relevant inlet control equipment.
Pump Fed: use this when a pond pump delivers water to the Nexus and filtered water returns to the pond by gravity. It includes the shared Nexus 220 and 320 pump fed automatic system.
For a purpose built koi pond, a correctly designed gravity fed layout is normally the preferred arrangement. Pump fed systems remain useful when upgrading a pond that cannot easily be altered. We are happy to check a drawing or photographs before the order is placed.

The headline pond volume is a guide. Heavy feeding, high koi stocking, long pipe runs and the required turnover can all change the correct design. A slower real flow can also improve fine solids capture, so the aim is not simply to force the maximum possible volume through the Nexus.
Choose the supporting water and air pumps
The Evolution Aqua Varipump 20000 provides useful headroom on a large installation, but it must be adjusted so the actual delivered flow through the Nexus does not exceed 13,000 litres per hour. Pipe friction and lift reduce the pump’s real output, so final settings should be based on the installed system rather than the number printed on the pump.
For the moving bed, the Evolution Aqua Airtech 95 is the normal starting point with the supplied 100 litres of media. Choose the Airtech 130 when increasing the media to around 150 litres. Larger media upgrades require a correspondingly larger air supply, with the airline length and installation depth also taken into account.
Plan the filter bay and waste route
- Leave clear working space around and above the Nexus for inspections and future servicing.
- Provide a properly sized, unrestricted waste route for every automatic clean.
- Plan how the pond water level will recover after cleaning. An automatic top up is often useful on an automatic system.
- Choose valves, flexible connectors and pipework to suit the actual layout rather than relying on a standard pack.
- Use a suitably qualified person for mains electrical work and weatherproof connections.
Compare the other Nexus 320 choices
If you need the filter alone, see the standard Nexus 320 Ti. Existing filter owners can buy the Nexus 320 gravity fed automatic kit or Nexus pump fed automatic kit separately. If you also want matched water and air pumps, compare our Nexus 320 Ti complete filter, pump and air kit. For a smaller system, view the Nexus 220 Ti Automatic Filter Bundle.
Common questions
Are the water pump and air pump included?
No. They need to be selected for the actual installation. Suitable Evolution Aqua choices are linked above.
Does the Nexus 320 Ti already contain UV clarification?
Yes. It includes two 55 watt Titanium enhanced UV clarifiers.
Can I run a 20,000 litre per hour pump with this filter?
A controllable 20,000 litre pump can provide useful capacity against pipe and head losses, but it must be set so the real flow through the Nexus remains at or below 13,000 litres per hour.
Does automatic cleaning remove all maintenance?
No. It automates the routine cleaning sequence. The filter, waste discharge, pond level, media movement and pumps still need regular visual checks.
Compare the Nexus Automatic options
If you already own a Nexus 320, the correct Automatic upgrade depends on how the filter is installed. Choose the Nexus 320 gravity fed Automatic Cleaning Kit when the filter sits at pond water level. For a pump fed Nexus, use the Nexus pump fed Automatic Cleaning Kit.
You can also compare this bundle with the Nexus 320 Ti filter, the Nexus 320 Ti complete filter, pump and air kit, or the smaller Nexus 220 Ti Automatic Filter Bundle.
