Engineered for ornamental ponds up to 90000 litres, fish ponds up to 45000 litres and koi ponds up to 22500 litres, this high capacity pressure filter delivers strong mechanical separation, stable biological processing and integrated ultraviolet clarification within a compact, sealed unit.

Because of its pressurised design, filtered water can be pumped uphill without loss of efficiency. As a result, the FiltoClear 90000 is ideal for supplying waterfalls, decorative streams and raised return points while maintaining proper circulation and flow.

The robust filter body is rated to operate at pressures up to 1.5 bar. This allows confident use with high output pumps and longer pipe runs, making it well suited to larger and more complex pond layouts.

Filtration Performance and Maintenance

A key feature of the FiltoClear 90000 is the integrated 120 watt UV clarifier. This high output UV unit effectively controls suspended algae and green water, helping to maintain clear and visually appealing pond water even in larger volumes.

For added convenience, the UV lamp can be accessed and serviced while the filter remains in operation. Therefore, circulation does not need to be stopped during routine maintenance.

Internally, the filter uses a multi stage foam system arranged in stacked quadrants. Coarse, medium and fine foams capture debris progressively while supporting beneficial bacteria for biological stability. This layered approach ensures effective solids removal before water returns to the pond.

The FiltoClear 90000 handles flow rates of up to 23000 litres per hour and features two 2 inch inlets and two 2 inch outlets. This configuration allows either a single high performance pump or a twin pump setup. In turn, this improves circulation, enables multiple suction points and enhances debris transport from across the pond floor.

Maintenance is quick and hygienic thanks to the patented internal cleaning system. Using the supplied cleaning handle, the foam quadrants are compressed. As debris is released, it is discharged through a separate waste outlet. There is no need to remove or manually rinse dirty foams.

For discreet installations, the FiltoClear 90000 can be buried in the ground up to the filter head. This allows it to blend into landscaped gardens while keeping all operating controls fully accessible.

UV sizing and maintenance notes

Oase FiltoClear 90000 Pressurised Pond Filter should be matched to the pond volume, flow rate and water clarity problem you are trying to solve. UV clarification works best when water passes the lamp at a suitable speed and the quartz sleeve is kept clean. If the flow is too fast, contact time can be reduced. If the lamp is old or the quartz sleeve is dirty, performance can drop even when the unit still appears to be switched on.

• Replace UV lamps as part of routine seasonal maintenance.
• Clean or inspect the quartz sleeve when water clarity starts to deteriorate.
• Match the UV to the pump and filter rather than installing it in isolation.
