SMART MOVE is a wireless, solar-powered motion detector for a compatible In-Lite SMART garden. It can trigger chosen lighting zones through the In-Lite app, adding useful arrival and security lighting without running a sensor cable back to the transformer.

Compatibility: choose the correct In-Lite control system

SMART MOVE forms part of the In-Lite SMART mesh and is commissioned in the app. Current In-Lite information states compatibility with SMART HUB systems, while the official product detail specifically describes connection to SMART HUB-150 and allows up to sixteen SMART MOVE detectors on one SMART HUB-150. Where and how to install it

Before installation, charge SMART MOVE for about three hours in direct daylight; it is not charged in the packaging. Mount it flat against a hard surface at roughly 1.8–2m and aim the detection area across the intended route. Its built-in light sensor prevents daytime activation, while the integrated solar panel maintains its internal energy store when positioned with suitable daylight exposure.

Practical setup advice

Use the app to decide which lighting zones respond and how long they remain on. A detector beside the drive does not need to trigger every decorative fitting in the rear garden. Creating a targeted safety routine is usually more useful and efficient. The stated detection reach is up to about ten metres, but walls, planting, sensor angle, nearby heat sources and the direction of movement can affect the real result.

Connection, power and system planning

Because it is solar powered and wireless, SMART MOVE needs no system-cable connection. It does, however, require reliable smart-network communication. If the SMART HUB Bluetooth connection is difficult inside a highly insulated or steel-framed building, investigate SMART EXTENDER; for internet and smart-home control, use SMART BRIDGE.

This accessory does not replace a correctly sized transformer, suitable In-Lite system cable or a coherent lighting plan. Start by deciding which lights should operate together, then select the correct HUB and control accessories for those zones.
