In-Lite LEVEL Reusable Ground-Stake Levelling Tool

LEVEL is a small but genuinely useful installation aid for In-Lite path and bollard lights. It fits onto a compatible In-Lite ground stake and uses a circular bubble indicator to show when the stake is upright before the light itself is installed.

A straighter result with less trial and error

Trying to level a tall bollard after it is already on the spike can be awkward, particularly in compacted or stony soil. Place LEVEL on the stake, loosen the ground as required and drive the stake until the bubble sits within the centre indicator. Remove LEVEL, then mount the fitting onto the aligned stake.

Reusable across the installation

Only one tool is normally required for a project. Move it from stake to stake as the lighting scheme is installed, checking alignment from two viewing directions before the surrounding soil is finally compacted.

Why level stakes matter in a finished lighting scheme

A small lean can be difficult to notice while the border is being built, yet becomes very obvious once several bollards are viewed together from a path, window or terrace. Correcting the ground stake at the beginning is quicker and kinder to the fitting than repeatedly levering the finished light after the soil has settled.

For a deliberately informal planting scheme, use the tool to establish a sound vertical starting point and let differences in height, spacing and foliage create the natural variation. That produces a more considered result than allowing individual fittings to lean in random directions.

Use with the right fitting and substrate

Very loose soil may need consolidation; very hard ground should be loosened rather than forcing the stake and damaging it. For paving, decking or concrete, use the mounting method supplied or specified for the chosen fitting instead of a ground stake.

Recheck the finished alignment after the cable has been connected and the surrounding ground compacted. Cable tension, large stones or root growth can move a stake away from the position shown by the first test. Keeping the EASY-LOCK and cable route relaxed and maintainable helps the fitting remain straight.
