Dedicated protective cover for SMART HUB-150

The In-Lite SMART HUB PROTECTOR is a purpose-shaped plastic cover for the SMART HUB-150. It provides an extra barrier around the transformer housing when a fully covered, precipitation-free position is not possible.

Not a universal SMART HUB cover

This model fits SMART HUB-150. The larger 21V SMART HUB-300 requires SMART HUB PROTECTOR 2, while HUB-75 and SMART HUB-75 use HUB PROTECTOR 1. Check the label on the transformer rather than choosing by appearance.

Fit it without compromising access

The protector slides over a correctly mounted SMART HUB-150. In-Lite specifies approximately 3mm mounting clearance, created by loosening the fixing screws by two turns. Follow the transformer and protector instructions, retain access for app pairing, reset and servicing, and keep the unit at the required height above ground.

Why the correct protector matters

The transformer enclosure and protector are shaped as a matched pair. A cover that is merely similar in size can obstruct ventilation, controls or cable exits and may not shed precipitation correctly. Confirm SMART HUB-150 on the transformer label before fitting this version.

The cover is an additional weather barrier, not permission to install the transformer in standing water, below the specified height or where snow and debris can build up around it. Leave drainage, ventilation and service access exactly as required by the current installation manual.

Plan for access and future maintenance

Before final fixing, test the complete light and connection and make sure the accessory can still be reached without damaging paving, planting or the finished surface. Original In-Lite components are designed as a system, but lamps, connections and mechanical parts must remain replaceable. Photographing the cable and fitting position before covering the surrounding area can save considerable investigation later.
