The Filtreau Combi-AFTER Gravity Fed with Rinse Pump is a professional post-filtration drum system designed for koi ponds and ornamental ponds up to 60m³, depending on stocking density. Unlike the mains-fed version, this model includes an integrated 5 bar rinse pump, allowing the drum to operate independently of mains pressure.

Designed for installation after an existing mechanical drum or sieve filter, this unit adds a powerful biological and polishing stage to your filtration system. Therefore, it significantly improves overall clarity, nitrification performance and long-term water stability.

Despite its slim 570mm profile, the unit houses a substantial 350 litre moving-bed biological chamber. Consequently, it provides serious bio capacity for heavily stocked koi ponds while still fitting comfortably into narrower filter pits.

An integrated 40W High Output UV-C immersion module operating at 253.7nm suppresses algae spores, bacteria and harmful microorganisms as water flows through the system. In turn, this reduces green water risk and supports healthier pond conditions throughout the year.

Integrated Rinse Pump and Automated Cleaning

This version includes a built-in 5 bar rinse pump that powers the automatic drum cleaning cycle. As debris restricts flow through the drum screen, the stainless steel float switch detects the water level change and activates the cleaning sequence.

The drum rotates while high-pressure spray nozzles flush waste directly to drain. Because the rinse pump operates independently of mains supply, this model offers greater installation flexibility and consistent cleaning performance.

In comparison to the mains-fed version, the integrated pump configuration simplifies plumbing where direct mains connection is not practical. Therefore, it is often preferred in dedicated filter houses or remote installations.

By combining mechanical drum polishing, a high-capacity moving-bed bio chamber and integrated UV-C clarification, this model delivers a complete post-filtration upgrade for serious koi keepers.
