The Filtreau Combi-AFTER Drum Filter with UVC and Rinse Pump – Pump Fed is a professional post-filtration drum system designed for pump fed koi ponds and ornamental ponds up to 60m³, depending on stocking density. Installed after an existing mechanical drum or sieve filter, it provides a dedicated biological and polishing stage to strengthen overall water clarity.

Thanks to its slim 570mm footprint, the unit integrates easily into most filter houses and pit layouts. Despite its compact width, it houses a substantial 350 litre moving bed biological chamber. Consequently, it delivers serious nitrification performance for heavily stocked koi systems.

In addition, the integrated 40W High Output UV C immersion module operating at 253.7nm suppresses algae spores, bacteria and harmful microorganisms as water flows through the chamber. This improves water clarity while supporting healthier conditions throughout the year.

Pump Fed Operation with Integrated Wash Pump

This pump fed version includes a built-in 5 bar rinse pump, allowing the drum cleaning cycle to operate independently of mains pressure. As debris restricts flow through the drum screen, the stainless steel float switch detects the change and activates the automatic cleaning cycle.

The drum rotates while high pressure spray nozzles flush waste directly to drain. Because the rinse pump is integrated within the unit, installation becomes more flexible and does not require a dedicated mains water feed for cleaning.

Water is pumped from the pond into your primary drum filter, where large solids are removed. It then flows into the Combi-AFTER chamber for advanced biological treatment before passing the UV C stage and returning onward in the system.

By combining mechanical polishing, high capacity moving bed bio filtration and integrated UV C clarification with its own wash pump, this version delivers a complete and self-contained post-filtration upgrade for serious koi keepers.
