This genuine kit supplies the separate waste-pipe components used to route dirty cleaning water away from a compatible Nexus filter. Evolution Aqua intentionally supplies the pieces loose so the installer can glue them in the orientation that suits the site.

Nexus filters can be installed pump-fed or gravity-fed, and the same physical port may perform a different role in each layout. Identify the filter model and intended configuration before cutting existing pipe. A flexible connector is useful because it can be released and repositioned, but it still needs straight, correctly sized pipe and evenly tightened stainless clamps.

Installation advice

Clean and prepare every solvent-weld surface as required by the pipe system. Arrange a continuous fall, allow access to the waste valve and never discharge pond waste where it can flow back towards the filter or electrical equipment.

• Dry-assemble the complete route before gluing rigid pipe.
• Support heavy valves and pipework independently of the filter wall.
• Keep waste lines falling freely without high points that trap solids.
• Tighten rubber-connector clamps evenly; do not use excessive force to hide a size mismatch.
• Fill and leak-test before permanently enclosing the installation.

Do flexible connectors need glue?

The rubber connection is secured with its clamps rather than solvent cement. Any adjoining rigid fittings still follow their own installation method.

Can the pipework hang from the filter port?

No. Support valves and long pipe runs so their weight and movement are not transferred into the filter body.
