When an impeller is the right repair
Typical symptoms include rattling, intermittent starting, visible blade damage or wear on the shaft/bearing surfaces. First clear weed, grit and scale from the chamber and check the fountain or hose is not blocked. If the sealed motor body or cable is damaged, the complete pump should be replaced.
Electrically isolate the pump, remove it to a clean work area and never pull it out by the cable. Keep every O-ring and washer in the original order, rinse the chamber without detergent, seat the new rotor gently and confirm the cover locks fully before returning the pump to water.
Compare our fountain pumps, pond pumps and other genuine pond spares.
Before ordering
Before ordering, match the exact manufacturer reference, model generation and connection or component size against the equipment already installed. Parts that look similar can use different threads, seals, electrical connections or dimensions. Check the product specification and the label on the original unit, and allow safe access for isolation and future servicing when the part is fitted. Inspect associated seals and fasteners during the repair and replace any worn items before recommissioning.
