Genuine service parts for pond and water-feature pumps

A worn rotor or impeller can reduce flow, increase noise or stop an otherwise serviceable pump. This section includes genuine Oase rotor and impeller assemblies, Blagdon MiniPond impellers and the Oase AquaMax Eco satellite strainer for compatible dual-inlet pump systems.

Match the full model and product reference. Pump families often retain the same name across several generations, while the internal dimensions or connector arrangement change.

Diagnose before replacing parts

Disconnect the pump, remove debris and inspect the intake, impeller chamber, shaft and bearings. A blocked hose or dirty strainer can imitate impeller failure. If the cable, motor encapsulation or casing is damaged, do not treat it as a routine rotor repair.

How to identify the correct assembly

Use the rating plate’s exact model, wattage and product number. Compare the old rotor length, shaft, magnet, blade shape and supplied seals. Never grind or force a near-match to fit.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know if the impeller has failed?

Noise, poor starting, low flow and visible wear are clues, but first rule out blockages, air and electrical faults.

Are pump rotors universal?

No. They are specific to the model and often to a particular generation.

Can I replace a damaged shaft only?

Only if the manufacturer supplies and approves it separately. Many parts are sold as an assembly.

Why does a new impeller still rattle?

Check correct model, shaft seating, bearings, chamber wear, trapped grit and dry running.

Can I lubricate it?

Use only the maintenance method and lubricant specified by the manufacturer; many wet rotors need no added lubricant.

What is a satellite strainer?

It provides a second remote water intake for a compatible dual-inlet pump, often improving circulation from another pond area.

Should I replace seals at the same time?

Replace any damaged seals and follow the part-kit instructions. Reusing a flattened seal can cause leaks.

Can I test the pump dry?

No. Wet-running pond pumps must be correctly submerged or flooded for testing.
