Add a second low-level intake to a compatible AquaMax Eco pump

The Oase AquaMax Eco Satellite Strainer creates an additional dirty-water intake away from the pump. It is particularly useful in elongated ponds, around an awkward shelf or at the opposite end of a koi pond where one pump cage cannot collect settled debris evenly.

The low-profile 370 × 260 × 100mm housing draws water through a broad guarded area and passes particles up to 11mm where the connected pump supports that solids size. It connects through 25, 32 or 38mm hose. The satellite does not pump on its own: it must be connected to the second inlet of a compatible AquaMax Eco model.

Where a satellite intake helps

• Collecting debris from a second low point.
• Improving circulation in long or irregular ponds.
• Positioning the serviceable pump where access is easier.
• Reducing dead zones without adding another electrical pump.

Keep the hose short, avoid high loops that trap air and place the strainer where it can be lifted for cleaning. A blocked satellite hose will not improve collection, and an intake buried in gravel can draw fines continuously. Pair it with the correct Oase AquaMax Eco Premium pump, suitable pond hose and an adequately sized pond filter.
