A concealed wall-side sump for water blades and architectural waterfall features

The Oase Water Reservoir Wall 60 is shaped specifically for a wall-mounted water feature rather than a free-standing ornament. Its long, narrow reservoir sits below the return area at the foot of a wall, collecting water from a blade, spillway or similar architectural outlet and feeding it back to the circulation pump.

The 1,118 × 559 × 406mm body holds approximately 125 litres and is supplied with a Matala-style splash mat. That mat helps control splash, quieten the return and conceal the water surface beneath decorative material. The reservoir can accommodate substantial flow, but the pump must still be selected from the width of the blade, the required sheet of water, the vertical lift and the resistance through hose and fittings.

Planning the complete wall feature

Oase recommends matching the reservoir with an appropriate Aquarius or AquaMax pump according to the installation. Use a generous pipe bore and keep the route as direct as the build allows. A regulating valve on the outlet side can help balance the final sheet, but a severely undersized pipe cannot be corrected by fitting a larger pump.

Provide a compacted level base, retain access to the pump chamber and protect liner or reservoir surfaces from sharp masonry. Is a pump included?

No. Pump size depends on blade width, lift, pipework and the required visual effect.

Can it be used for a free-standing monolith?

A square or round Oase reservoir is normally the more suitable catchment for a central free-standing feature.

Does the splash mat remove all splash?

It reduces noise and stray droplets, but the outlet still needs to be aligned so the complete water sheet lands within the reservoir.
