The Oase ProfiClear Pump Chamber Compact Classic is a dedicated gravity fed equipment housing module designed exclusively for use with the Oase ProfiClear Premium Compact M Gravity Fed and Compact L Gravity Fed drum filtration systems.

Engineered as part of the ProfiClear Premium modular range, it provides a discreet chamber for pumps and ultraviolet clarifiers. As a result, it ensures efficient circulation and final stage sterilisation before water returns to the pond.

Installed at pond water level, the Pump Chamber forms the final stage in a gravity fed filtration chain. Therefore, it allows water to flow naturally from bottom drains and skimmers through the drum and biological modules before being pumped back to the pond.

Discreet Gravity Integration with Pump and UV Compatibility

After mechanical and biological filtration have taken place, water enters the Pump Chamber from the Compact drum unit. The chamber can house up to 2 x Oase AquaMax Gravity Eco 10000 pumps, ensuring powerful and consistent return flow. Consequently, circulation remains stable even in larger koi pond systems.

In addition, the module can accommodate up to 2 x Oase Bitron Premium 60W UVC. This allows ultraviolet sterilisation to take place within the same housing unit. Therefore, algae spores and harmful microorganisms are controlled before water is returned to the pond.

The chamber is designed to be buried at water level, creating a low profile and discreet installation. Furthermore, it integrates seamlessly with bottom drains and skimmers within gravity fed systems, maintaining optimal flow rates and hydraulic efficiency.

UV sizing and maintenance notes

Oase ProfiClear Pump Chamber Compact Classic should be matched to the pond volume, flow rate and water clarity problem you are trying to solve. UV clarification works best when water passes the lamp at a suitable speed and the quartz sleeve is kept clean. If the flow is too fast, contact time can be reduced. If the lamp is old or the quartz sleeve is dirty, performance can drop even when the unit still appears to be switched on.

• Replace UV lamps as part of routine seasonal maintenance.
• Clean or inspect the quartz sleeve when water clarity starts to deteriorate.
• Match the UV to the pump and filter rather than installing it in isolation.
• Allow safe access for lamp changes and winter maintenance.

Good UV performance also depends on mechanical filtration. Removing fine debris before the UV helps the lamp work on green water algae more effectively.
