High-Performance UV-C Amalgam Lamp and Quartz Sleeve Set for Fully Submersible Pond UV Steriliser Systems
This range combines the replacement UV lamp and its quartz protection in the assembly used by the matching Filtreau fully submersible system. It is a different product from a bare drum-filter lamp or a quartz sleeve sold on its own.
The available size choices are 25W, 40W, 55W, 75W and 105W. Select the version specified for the existing UV system; a higher wattage is not an upgrade that can be fitted to any ballast or connector.
Check the complete assembly identity
Use the old assembly and control-gear labels to identify the correct replacement. The supplier references run from UV901 for 25W through UV905 for 105W, as shown in the selection table. Wattage, connector, mounting and approved ballast compatibility all matter.
The “fully submersible” description applies to the assembly’s intended installation. It does not remove the need for safe shielding, suitable positioning and protection of the electrical control gear. The UV must never be operated exposed where someone can look at it.
Why both lamp and quartz condition matter
The lamp’s useful UV-C output changes with service time, while deposits on quartz can restrict transmission into the water. Follow the correct service interval and cleaning instructions rather than judging performance only by whether the lamp still glows.
If the unit does not light, check the fault properly before ordering. A replacement lamp-and-quartz assembly will not necessarily repair a damaged ballast or cable. Cracked protective glass is a reason to isolate the unit, not continue running it until the next scheduled service.

Replacing safely
Isolate the power, allow cooling and follow the specific system instructions for removal and reassembly. Check seals and connections, and verify the water-side installation is sound before energising the UV. Ask for help with identification if the old markings are unclear.
