Aquaforte Superstrong Fix & Seal is a premium quality all purpose adhesive and sealant designed specifically for demanding environments such as ponds, water features and outdoor construction projects. Based on advanced MS polymer technology, this versatile product combines extremely strong bonding performance with a fully waterproof seal, making it ideal for applications where reliability and long term durability are essential.

Unlike traditional sealants, Aquaforte Superstrong Fix & Seal acts as both an adhesive and a sealant. It creates a flexible yet incredibly strong bond on almost all materials and surfaces, even when used underwater. Once cured, the seal remains permanently waterproof, UV resistant and fish safe, making it perfectly suited for koi ponds, wildlife ponds, filtration systems and other aquatic installations.

This product is commonly used when sealing or connecting pond components such as bottom drains, skimmer faceplates, flanges, TPRs, GPRs and waterfall lips. It is also widely used during pond window installations, fibreglass pond builds and filter system upgrades. Once cured, the finished seal can be painted if required, allowing it to blend seamlessly into surrounding materials.

Aquaforte Superstrong Fix & Seal replaces the need for multiple different sealants and adhesives, including silicone, polyurethane, acrylic, bitumen and butyl based products. It can even replace many construction glues and wood contact adhesives, making it a true multi purpose solution for both professional installers and experienced DIY pond builders. Please note that it is not suitable for use on PE or PP plastics.

How Much Fix & Seal Do I Need for a Pond Window?

As a rough guide, allow approximately one 290ml tube for every 20cm of total window circumference. For example, a pond window with a total circumference of 2 metres would typically require around 10 tubes to ensure a full and continuous sealing bead. This estimate allows for a generous application, helping to ensure a strong bond and reliable waterproof seal.
