Aqua Source Aqua Balance Enzyme Sphere

Aqua Source Aqua Balance Enzyme Sphere

Biological pond treatment for filter support, sludge reduction and water balance

Empty the contents of the tub directly into the pond and allow the product to disperse. It can be used after medications, during periods of increased feeding, after adding new koi, after heavy rainfall or during other stressful conditions. Repeat every 4 to 8 weeks where ongoing support is required, following the manufacturer label. Treatment capacity: one sphere treats up to 20,000 litres Function: enzyme replenishment, immune support, digestive support and recovery support Application: empty the contents directly into the pond Maintenance schedule: repeat every 4 to 8 weeks Useful after medications, new fish introductions, heavy rainfall or stressful conditions

Biological treatments such as Aqua Source Aqua Balance Enzyme Sphere work best when the pond gives the bacteria the right conditions to establish. Use in chlorine-free water, maintain good oxygen levels and avoid dosing at the same time as strong chemical treatments unless the manufacturer says it is safe. They are especially useful after filter cleaning, new pond start-ups, medication courses, heavy feeding or seasonal waste build-up, where the biological system needs extra support.

Aqua Source Aqua Balance products cover live bacteria, filter gel, buffer minerals, clay, enzyme support and blanketweed treatments. Their range is aimed at biological balance, water stability and koi pond maintenance rather than one single cure-all treatment.

Biological support guidance

Use Aqua Source Aqua Balance Enzyme Sphere when the pond or filter needs biological support, such as after cleaning, new filter installation, medication, heavy feeding or seasonal waste build-up. Do not expect bacterial treatments to instantly remove years of sludge; they work by supporting natural breakdown over time, especially when oxygen levels and water temperature are suitable.

• Use only in dechlorinated water; chlorine can reduce bacterial activity.
• Avoid dosing live bacteria at the same time as strong chemical medicines unless the label allows it.
• Maintain strong aeration so bacteria and filter media have enough oxygen.
• Allow time for biological products to work; sludge and waste will not disappear instantly.
• Reapply after medication, deep cleaning or large water changes where the label recommends it.
• Store the product as instructed and do not use if it has been damaged or contaminated.
