Aqua Source Aqua Balance Balls are slow-release biodegradable gel balls designed to sit in the pond filter and gradually release beneficial bacteria into the water. They are used for biological filter support, ammonia and nitrite stability, sludge reduction and regular koi pond maintenance, with 500ml treating up to 15,000 litres and 1 litre treating up to 30,000 litres.

Place the balls directly into filter media where possible. A small mesh or net bag can make them easier to position and replace, especially in standard biological filters. For pressurised filters or bead filters, empty the contents directly into the filter as directed. Replace the balls when they have significantly shrunk.
