Find your pond heater

Use pond size as a shortlist, then read the model description for its recommended volume and operating temperatures. A covered pond at 12°C is our winter planning target; supplier volume guides are not a guarantee for every installation. Contact us for help choosing a model for your pond.

Compare individual models and installation requirements

Compare six individual inverter models with built-in Smart Life Wi-Fi. The range spans smaller plug-connected units and larger hardwired installations, so check the electrical requirements and circulation for the exact size.

Browse the complete air source heat pump range to compare brands and controls, or explore other pond heating equipment.

Compare model output, water flow and supply

The output below is measured at air 15°C and water 26°C. It helps compare models at the same published test condition; it is not a freezing-weather output or a guaranteed winter pond capacity. Open the individual page for the full specification and installation requirements.

On a small screen, swipe the comparison table sideways to see all columns.

Model Heat output at A15/W26 Nominal water flow Electrical supply
Remora Professional 8 Inverter Heat Pump with Wi-Fi 2.4–5.75 kW 3–5 m³/hour 230 V; supplied with a 2.8 m cable and UK plug
Remora Professional 10 Inverter Heat Pump with Wi-Fi 3.75–7.5 kW 4–6 m³/hour 230 V
Remora Professional 15 Inverter Heat Pump with Wi-Fi 4.33–10.45 kW 5–7 m³/hour 230 V
Remora Professional 19 Inverter Heat Pump with Wi-Fi 6.02–13.8 kW 7–9 m³/hour 230 V
Remora Professional 26 Inverter Heat Pump with Wi-Fi 9.31–17.85 kW 10–13 m³/hour 230 V

Temperature and seasonal suitability

The Professional range supports a 5–40°C control range. A 12°C target can therefore be considered for a covered koi pond, but the heater still needs enough output for the actual winter heat loss. The controller setting alone does not establish the pond size it can heat.

Compare the complete installation

Compare the output at the same air and water conditions. The larger Professional 41 is a 230V single-phase model with significant electrical and water-flow requirements; do not assume that physical size makes it a three-phase unit.

Plan the water circuit using the flow required by the heater after allowing for the installed filter, pipes and fittings. Arrange appropriate isolation and service access, and check the electrical supply with a qualified installer. Outdoor clearance and a clear route for condensate are part of the installation, not optional extras.

Covering and insulating the water reduces heat loss. If a heater is shut down during freezing weather, follow its draining and winterisation instructions; switching off power does not remove trapped water. Our pond heating guide explains the main planning considerations.
