As a result, you can get the system up and running quickly without complex setup. The unit suits water volumes up to 120 m³ and removes suspended solids, fine debris, and organic matter effectively.

In addition, the system can run continuously or alongside other circulation equipment. Therefore, it helps extend cleaning intervals and maintain stable water quality.

High Performance Filtration

The Oase D600 delivers a recirculation capacity of 13 m³ per hour at an 8 metre water column. Because of this, it maintains strong and consistent water turnover.

It also provides a filtration surface area of 0.28 m². As a result, it captures fine particles efficiently while maintaining steady flow.

This balance improves water clarity and reduces the need for frequent cleaning.

How the Filtration System Works

Water enters through the upper distributor and spreads evenly across the media bed. It then flows downward through the sand or AFM media, where the system captures dirt and debris.

Clean water exits through the lower collector and returns to the pool. Because of this design, the system filters evenly across the entire media bed.

Over time, debris builds up and increases pressure inside the tank. When this happens, you can use the multiport valve to start a backwash cycle.

During this process, the system flushes out trapped waste in just 2 to 4 minutes. As a result, it restores optimal flow quickly and keeps maintenance simple.

Filter Media Options

The Oase D600 requires approximately 125 kg of filter media.

You can choose between:

5x Crystal Quartz Sand
This provides a reliable and cost effective option with a grain size of 0.4 to 0.8 mm. It delivers consistent filtration and stable flow.

5x AFM Filter Medium
This offers a premium upgrade with a grain size of 0.5 to 1.0 mm. It improves fine particle capture and reduces biofilm build up.

As a result, AFM helps maintain better water clarity and reduces maintenance over time.

Simple Maintenance and Operation

The Oase D600 makes maintenance straightforward and predictable.

The integrated pressure gauge allows you to monitor system performance easily. As soon as pressure rises, you know it is time to clean the filter.

You can then run a backwash cycle, which takes approximately 2 to 4 minutes. During this process, the system uses around 650 litres of water.

Because of this, you can maintain performance quickly without interrupting operation for long periods.

D600 vs D800 – Which Filter is Right for You?

Oase offers two main models in this range, the D600 and the D800. While both use the same filtration method, they suit different system sizes.

The D600 is ideal for systems up to around 120 m³. It delivers approximately 13 m³ per hour and requires around 125 kg of media.

In contrast, the D800 suits larger and more demanding systems. It delivers up to 25 m³ per hour and requires around 325 kg of media.

In addition, the D800 uses more water during backwashing. Therefore, it is better suited to commercial or high demand installations.
