The Oase D800 Pool Sand Filter and Pump Set delivers high capacity mechanical filtration for large swimming pools, biopools, and commercial water features where consistent performance is essential. It comes as a complete pre assembled unit on a compact base, which makes installation straightforward and efficient.

As a result, you can install and commission the system quickly without complex setup. The D800 is designed for water volumes up to 300 m³ and removes suspended solids, fine debris, and organic contamination effectively.

In addition, the system can run continuously or alongside other circulation equipment. Therefore, it helps maintain stable water quality while reducing the frequency of manual cleaning.

High Performance Filtration

The Oase D800 delivers a recirculation capacity of 25 m³ per hour at an 8 metre water column. Because of this, it provides strong and consistent water turnover for high demand systems.

It also offers a filtration surface area of 0.50 m². As a result, it captures fine particles efficiently while maintaining stable flow rates.

This combination improves water clarity and supports reliable long term operation in larger installations.

How the Filtration System Works

Water enters through the upper distributor and spreads evenly across the filter media bed. It then flows downward through the sand or AFM media, where the system captures dirt and suspended particles.

Clean water exits through the lower collector and returns to the pool. Because of this design, the system filters evenly across the full media bed.

Over time, debris builds up and increases pressure inside the tank. When this happens, you can use the multiport valve to start a backwash cycle.

During this process, the system flushes out trapped waste in just 2 to 4 minutes. As a result, it restores optimal performance quickly and keeps maintenance simple.

Filter Media Options

The Oase D800 requires approximately 325 kg of filter media.

You can choose between:

13x Crystal Quartz Sand
This provides a reliable and cost effective option with a grain size of 0.4 to 0.8 mm. It delivers consistent filtration and stable flow.

13x AFM Filter Medium
This offers a premium upgrade with a grain size of 0.5 to 1.0 mm. It improves fine particle capture and reduces biofilm build up.

As a result, AFM helps maintain better water clarity while also reducing maintenance intervals.

Built for High Demand Applications

The Oase D800 is designed for demanding environments such as large private pools, commercial systems, and public water features.

It uses a heavy duty GRP filter tank with an 830 mm diameter. Because of this, it provides excellent strength, pressure resistance, and long term durability.

In addition, the system includes a high performance 1.85 kW pump. Therefore, it maintains strong flow even under high load conditions.

Simple Maintenance and Operation

The Oase D800 is designed to keep maintenance straightforward.

The integrated pressure gauge allows you to monitor system performance easily. As soon as pressure increases, you can identify when backwashing is required.

You can then run a backwash cycle, which typically takes 2 to 4 minutes. During this process, the system uses approximately 1200 to 1500 litres of water.

Because of this, you can restore performance quickly while keeping downtime to a minimum.

D600 vs D800 – Which Filter is Right for You?

Oase offers two main sand filter sizes, the D600 and the D800. While both use the same filtration principle, they suit different system sizes.

The D600 is ideal for systems up to around 120 m³. It delivers approximately 13 m³ per hour and requires around 125 kg of media.

In contrast, the D800 is designed for much larger systems. It delivers up to 25 m³ per hour and requires around 325 kg of media.

In addition, the D800 uses more water during backwashing. Therefore, it is best suited to commercial or high demand installations.
