Provides five-stage local brightness control for compatible 12V In-Lite pendant and wall lights.

It is part of the coordinated In-Lite outdoor lighting system and is intended to be planned alongside the transformer, cable route and neighbouring fittings.

What this product does

TOUCH DIMMER adds local five-stage brightness control to compatible In-Lite 12V wall, ceiling and pendant lights. It is intended for individual control at the fitting and does not require a SMART HUB simply to change the light level. That makes it useful beside seating or dining areas where full output is helpful at one time and a softer setting is more comfortable later in the evening.

Compatibility to check before ordering

Compatible dimmable 12V In-Lite fittings only; it is not a mains dimmer and does not replace a HUB transformer.

In-Lite has updated a number of families over time, so also compare the part number on an existing fitting and the current installation manual. If you send us a photograph of the label and the parts you already have, we will help check the combination before dispatch.

Installation and design advice

Lay the relevant parts out and test the position before drilling, cutting or burying cable. Keep electrical joints accessible, preserve drainage around ground-level equipment and avoid placing a visible light source directly in a normal seated or walking sight line. On a 12V circuit, calculate transformer capacity from the stated VA load of the complete fittings rather than adding only LED wattage.

For 12V equipment, use genuine In-Lite system cable and the specified connection components so the circuit remains serviceable and the manufacturer system guarantee is protected.
