In-Lite AIM FLOOR 12V Spotlight Without Base

In-Lite AIM FLOOR brings the AIM light head to hard surfaces where a ground spike cannot be used. This component includes the lighting assembly but deliberately excludes the GRIP 3 mounting base, which is required for the normal freestanding floor configuration.

It suits terraces, paving, decks and other firm surfaces where a movable directional accent light is useful. Use it to pick out pots, planting, sculptures, walls or architectural details without drilling a permanent spike position into the landscape.

Part of the modular In-Lite AIM family

AIM is built around a compact warm-white light head, waterproof modular connections and precise mechanical adjustment. The 35° beam reaches up to approximately 3.5 metres and the integrated honeycomb glare control helps shield the LED from normal viewing positions. A 3000K colour temperature and CRI 90 preserve the appearance of foliage, flowers, timber and stone.

AIM FLOOR lighting assembly only. The GRIP 3 base is not included and is available separately; choose the complete AIM FLOOR with base if you need a ready-to-assemble set.

Plan compatibility before ordering components

This is a modular AIM item, so check whether your installation requires a complete fitting, an additional light head, a mounting base or a ceiling/floor configuration. Add the VA of every head to the transformer total. If you are unsure, send us a photograph or sketch of the mounting position and we will help identify the parts required.

Position the beam for the feature, not the fitting

Use In-Lite AIM FLOOR 12V Spotlight Without Base to light the face and structure of the subject rather than simply aiming at its base. Move the trial position around the tree, sculpture, wall or planting after dark; a small change in distance or angle can produce more depth and much less glare. Where the source can be seen from a path or seat, a compatible shield or honeycomb accessory is usually worth considering.

For larger trees, two restrained beams from different positions generally look more natural than one fitting driven at the limit of its reach. Keep the cable and EASY-LOCK accessible so the aiming position can still be adjusted as planting matures.
