Gold Label One Shot 80ml Underwater Pond Sealer
Gold Label One Shot is a compact 80ml black pond sealant for small aquatic repairs where a full cartridge would be unnecessary. The flexible foil pack can be squeezed by hand, so you do not need a sealant gun. It is particularly convenient for puncture patches, localised leaks, loose edging stones, small fittings and emergency repairs around ponds, aquariums and water features.
The sealant is designed to bond in wet conditions and can be applied underwater when the repair cannot be completely drained and dried. For the strongest and neatest result, clean the area as thoroughly as circumstances allow and remove algae, slime, grease and loose material before application.
Key benefits
- Compact 80ml foil pack for smaller jobs with less leftover waste.
- No cartridge gun required.
- Black finish blends with most dark pond liners and fittings.
- Suitable for wet and underwater application when used as directed.
- Useful with compatible butyl patches for localised liner repairs.
Materials and limitations
Gold Label sealant is used on many common pond materials, including suitable rubber and vinyl liners, glass, plastic, ceramic, stone, concrete and wood. Compatibility and preparation still matter: test an inconspicuous area if the substrate is uncertain, and do not assume it will bond reliably to Polyex, HDPE or LDPE liners.
This product is intended for local sealing and repair. It cannot correct structural movement, unsupported fittings, failing pipe joints or widespread liner deterioration. Large gaps may require mechanical support or a correctly sized repair patch, and heavily loaded joints should be assessed before relying on sealant alone.
Application
Open the foil pack as directed, apply a continuous bead and press the sealant firmly onto the prepared surface. When installing a patch, keep a complete seal around the damaged area and work out trapped air without removing all the sealant from beneath it. Allow the bond to develop for the period stated on the pack and keep fish away from uncured material.
For a reinforced liner repair, add a Gold Label pond liner repair patch. For larger work, choose the Gold Label 290ml cartridge, or browse all pond glues, sealants and solvents.
